Steps to Certification
PRG provides a simple, transparent and straightforward certification
process in compliance with the requirements of international accreditation
bodies. We are committed to guide you through and keep you informed
about the status of your certification on every step of the process.
International accreditation bodies require that before the certification
audit:

Documentation
Review
Comparison of top tier quality system documentation to standard requirements
in assurance that all are addressed in the system.

Optional Pre-Assessment
Informal and/or abbreviated audit to determine the level of system
implementation and readiness for certification audit.

Certification Audit
Evaluation of the quality management system for compliance with the
requirements and verification of sufficient implementation.

Audit Report Review, Certification Decision
& Issuance
PRG Certification Department Review of Audit Report to ensure consistent
interpretation of standards by audit team and provide independent
certification decision.

Surveillance Audits
Abbreviated audits conducted at semi-annual or annual intervals to
verify continued system compliance, effectiveness and improvement.

Renewal of Certification
Certificate renewal after successful completion of sixth semi-annual
surveillance or third annual audit.
Conditions for use of the ANAB Accreditation Mark and
(PRG) Preferred Registrar Group INC.’S Certification Mark:

PRG may use the ANAB accreditation mark
only in conjunction with its own mark on its certificates, advertising,
stationery and literature associated with its accredited registration
activities, subject to the conditions below.

A PRG Registered supplier may use the
ANAB accreditation mark only in conjunction with PRG’s registration
mark on the supplier’s stationery and literature, and in its
advertising, subject to the conditions below and to PRG’s own
conditions for use of its mark.

The ANAB accreditation mark shall be
reproduced: - in black, or in gold, or in the predominant color of
the letterhead or printing; - on a clearly contrasting background;
the mark may be reversed (i.e., negative of the above example) provided
the background on which it is displayed is dark enough to clearly
identify and display the entire mark; - in a size which makes all
features of the mark clearly distinguishable.

When using the ANAB accreditation,
mark, its size must not exceed the size of the PRG mark. A Supplier
may not place the ANAB accreditation mark in isolation
from the PRG mark.

The ANAB accreditation mark shall not
be used by PRG on any document unless the document relates in whole
or in part to registration activities of PRG, which are accredited
under the ANAB NAP. This shall not prevent PRG from including the
accreditation mark on its preprinted letterhead paper.

Neither PRG’s mark nor the ANAB
accreditation mark shall be used on a product, its labeling or packaging,
or in such a way as to suggest that PRG and/or ANAB have certified
or approved any product, process or service of a registered supplier,
or in any other misleading manner.
NOTE- Such action includes corrective action, withdrawal of registration
certificates(s), publication of the transgression and, if necessary, other
legal action.
