Conditions for use of the ANSI-ASQ National Accreditation Board (ANAB) Accreditation Mark and (PRG) Preferred Registrar Group INC.'S Certification Mark and Certification References.

1. PRG may use the ANAB accreditation mark only in conjunction with its own mark on its certificates, advertising, stationery and literature associated with its accredited registration activities, subject to the conditions below.
2. A PRG Registered supplier may use the ANAB accreditation mark only in conjunction with PRG’s registration mark on the supplier’s stationery and literature, and in it’s advertising, subject to the conditions below.
3. The ANAB accreditation mark shall be reproduced:
- in black, or blue (PMS2935 or equivalent), or in the predominant color of the letterhead or printing;
- in a size which makes all features of the mark clearly distinguishable.
- Without distortion of its dimensions
4. When using the ANAB accreditation, mark, its size must not exceed the size of the PRG mark.
A Supplier may not place the ANAB accreditation mark in isolation from the PRG mark.
5. The ANAB accreditation mark shall not be used by PRG on any document unless the document relates in whole or in part to registration activities of PRG, which are accredited under the ANAB. This shall not prevent PRG from including the accreditation mark on its preprinted letterhead paper.
6. Neither PRG’s mark nor the ANAB accreditation mark shall be used on a product, its labeling or packaging, or in such a way as to suggest that PRG and/or ANAB have certified or approved any product, process or service of a registered supplier, or in any other misleading manner.
7. Neither mark shall be applied to laboratory test, calibration or inspection reports, as such reports are deemed to be products in this context.
PROPER USE OF CERTIFICATION STATEMENTS AND DOCUMENTS
PRG requires that the certified organization conforms to requirements of PRG when making reference to its certification status in communication media.
1. May not use or permit any misleading statements regarding certification.
2. May not use or permit use of certification documents, or any part thereof, in a misleading manner.
3. Upon suspension or withdrawal of certification, all advertising matter that references certification must be discontinued from use.
4. Must amend all advertising matter when the scope of certification has been reduced.
5. May not reference the certified management system to be used in such a way as to imply that PRG certifies a product (including service) or process.
6. May not imply that the certification applies to activities outside the scope of certification.
7. May not use certification in such a manner that would bring PRG and/or ANAB and/or the certification system into disrepute and lose public trust.
PRG shall exercise proper control of ownership and shall take action to deal with incorrect references to certification status or misleading use of certification documents, marks or audit reports.
NOTE- Such action includes requests for corrections and corrective action, suspension or withdrawal of registration certificates(s), publication of the transgression and, if necessary, other legal action.
